In my kitchen, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - March 27, 2010

To honor Earth Hour for Saturday, March 27 at 8:30 PM, we turned off all the lights and lit a candle in the kitchen. Sitting there in the dark for an hour, I was mezzmerized by the candle flame, which triggered my photo sense. “I’ll take a close-up of the flame”, I thought.

Here it is. I converted it to black & white.
