Center City Rush Hour - Philadelphia - January 29, 2008
Shot on a rainy Winter day in 2008, 15 years ago today. I obviously manipulated the heck out of it. It’s a combination of HDR, motion blur and partial black & white conversion. With today’s tools, it’s easy to get carried away…Here is the original photograph (on right)
Let me know what you think.

Very nice work. Excellent!
Father Dan
Love it – wonderful!!
Carried away – that’s the understatement! But that’s really amazing! Nice job!
David,
Congratulations on your montage of the City Hall, traffic and the life of the people. Very nice work!
Fr. Dan
I love it! I like the blue along with the black and white. I tend to lean towards black and white over color, well depending on the picture.
Very cool and very unusual I like it!
Gosh David, that is phenomenal work! What a stark contrast from the original photo to the photo you changed. Thanks for sharing with me.

Classic. This is like a perfect, crisp piece of “Pop Art” — you don’t see a lot of works get this effect outside of Rauschenberg and Warhol.
David,
Wonderful photo. I like how you captured the line detail of City Hall and the surrounding buildings. Excellent.
Father Dan
absolutely gorgeous, love the colors and reflections, thank you so much for including us in your daily mailings.
