iPhone photo - Antique Warehouse - Solana Beach, California - August 26, 2012
We were out for the day, stopped at one of our favorite Antique shops in Solano Beach. In the men’s room, I spotted this old window with a spider web in the corner. Took out my iPhone and composed. I noticed the blown out area and decided to take a second photograph in case I wanted detail in that area.
When I combined the photographs, I decided to experiment with blend modes (a function in Photoshop). I really liked the difference mode, a kind of negative image. I rotated the image. I really like the enhanced texture.
Sometimes it’s fun to experiment with an image.
